Our team of professionals is available for all areas of Adult Foster Care screening, matching, and following client placements.

Cynthia Bjorlie M.D., Executive Director
Cynthia is board certified in internal medicine and was a primary care doctor for many years before starting Adult Foster Care North Shore in 2001.

Joe Woodbury, Managing Director
Joe was a case manager with the Dept of Developmental Services (formerly Dept of Mental Retardation) for 16 years. He and his wife Karin live in Salisbury with their children and a menagerie of farm animals.

Janet Dunsky R.N. Assistant Director
Janet worked for 28 years in obstetrics at Addison Gilbert Hospital. She also worked at Shorecliff Retirement Home and the Senior Adult Unit at Addison Gilbert Hospital. She is interested in American history and is a member of the 1812 Marine Guard with the USS Constitution.

Marcia Lindquist R.N.
Marcia has 20 years of experience in nursing with Hospice and also the Visiting Nurses. She lives in Danvers.

Joanna Adrien R.N.
Joanna comes to AFC after 10 years working for hospice. She moved to Salisbury this year to be near her grandchildren. She has been a career community nurse except for a short stint at Winchester Hospital.

Angie is a nurse who started with us in 2010. She is experienced in home care and lives in Peabody.

Maureen O'Brien-Hidalgo L.P.N.
Maureen is a Gloucester resident. When she is not working for AFC, she and her husband can be found selling Kettle Corn at various fairs and events around Essex County.

Leslie Roberts Pope R.N.
Leslie Roberts Pope worked for more than 15 years as a visiting nurse, supervisor, and director of clinical services for the VNA North Shore. Most recently, she served in the administration as a vice president at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth New Hampshire.

Bonnie Griffith
Bonnie joined our staff in 2009 after years working as a case manager for the Dept of Developmental Services (formerly Dept of Mental Retardation)

David Harrison J.D.
David retired as the Presiding Justice of the Gloucester District Court and from the practice of law in 2002 and then found himself with lots of energy and time. He is now a case manager for Adult Foster Care. He lives with his wife in Gloucester. He is the father of a disabled son and has that additional experience and understanding of AFC issues.
Loretta NeVille, Case Manager
Loretta has a background in corporate management. She joined AFC out of an active retirement and is now a case manager mostly in the Merrimack Valley.
Judy St. Cyr, office
Judy has experience in the many functions of a medical office. She is both a Certified Nurse Assistant and a Medical Office Assistant. She lives in Gloucester with her family.

Deanna is a Gloucester native who is now managing our office. She brings with her experience in office work and computer skills.

Tanya Crawford
Tanya has recently joined our AFC team. She is a former case manager with the Department of Developmental Services (formerly Dept. of Mental Retardation).

Rosie McKenna
A former teacher in Danvers and Reading, Rosie has also been a successful business owner on the North Shore for many years. She is an active community volunteer with Hospice of the North Shore, Gathering Change Inc., and Recovery High School in Beverly.
