What Is a Caregiver?
Our caregivers are responsible, compassionate people who offer consistent care and a safe home for adults with disabilities or chronic illnesses.
Most of our caregivers are family members or people who want to support others. We offer ongoing training and professional guidance. All caregiver placements are voluntary and thoughtfully matched. Caregivers may work outside the home if their schedules allow for proper client care.

Our caregivers must provide:
-
A clean, safe home (rented or owned)
-
Nutritious daily meals and snacks
-
A private bedroom with a door and window
-
A private or shared bathroom
-
Support for daily personal care needs

Financial Support
We are a MassHealth-funded program that provides a monthly tax-free payment of up to $1,700 for our caregivers depending on the level of care. Caregivers may also receive room and board stipends. More than 95% of our clients already live with family who qualify.
