Adult Foster Care of the North Shore (AFCNS) has earned the highest level of accreditation from CARF, receiving a prestigious three-year designation. This recognition reflects AFCNS’s commitment to high-quality, person-centered care for adults with disabilities or chronic illness, as well as ongoing support for caregivers throughout Northeast Massachusetts.

Adult Foster Care of the North Shore partnered with Together Gloucester, Inc. to support this year’s winter coat drive, helping collect warm clothing for members in need. Our Director of Operations, Deanna Benjamin, met with Kristin Michel to gather donations ahead of the upcoming Operation Keep Gloucester Warm event on December 6th.

AFCNS is proud to share that our recent food and hygiene drive for Emmaus House collected over $800 in essential goods for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Thank you to everyone who donated—and to Jailyn for delivering the items with care!

AFCNS was proud to attend AgeSpan’s community fundraiser supporting the Power of Pets Program, which helps older adults care for their pets by covering essential veterinary and basic care expenses.
