This September, the AFCNS community came together with generosity and heart to support Emmaus House in Lawrence—an organization dedicated to helping individuals and families experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives. Thanks to the kindness of our caregivers, staff, families, and wider community, we collected an impressive $800 worth of food, hygiene products, and essential supplies.

These items go directly toward supporting Emmaus House’s shelter programs, meal services, and outreach efforts, offering comfort and stability to those who need it most. Every donation, big or small, helps ensure that vulnerable neighbors have access to basic necessities many of us take for granted.
A special thank-you goes to Jailyn, who coordinated and delivered the hygiene & food drive donations on behalf of AFCNS. Her dedication and enthusiasm helped make this initiative such a success.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed. Your generosity reflects the heart of our AFCNS community and our commitment to supporting dignity, stability, and compassion beyond the walls of our own program.
Together, we make a difference—one act of kindness at a time.
